Founded in spirit from the historical Janssen Mercantile of Coalwood, Montana  we honor the values that defined small-town mercantiles of the early American West: hard work, integrity, craftsmanship, and service to the community. Those same principles guide everything we create today.

In the early 1900s, mercantile stores served as the heart of their communities. They were gathering places where neighbors knew one another by name, quality mattered, and every purchase carried a sense of trust.

The original Janssen Mercantile was part of that tradition.
